2030 is fast approaching and the sustainable development goal Agenda is calling. With the 17 goals established by the UN in mind, Ristorfoods has decided to do its part by choosing to act on points that are most relevant to our business.

Achieving objective no. 7:

For a long time, Ristorfoods has been committed to using only clean energy on company's premises, because we know that corporate profit cannot mean ignoring the environment or, worse, being at the expense of it.

We carefully select our suppliers and are committed to only purchasing energy from those able to guarantee that it comes from renewable sources.

Currently, all the energy used in-house comes from hydroelectric sources. Our commitment to the environment also applies to our vehicle fleet, which is a major part of Ristorfoods' business. The aim is to completely overhaul the fleet by 2035, replacing all vehicles with electric-powered means.

Ristorfoods has always been attentive to the well-being of its employees. The steps aimed at achieving objective 8 emerged thanks, above all, to the desire and vision of Gerardo Cuomo who, remembering the difficulties he experienced at the beginning of his career and looking to the future, has made the direct personal relationship with his workers a cornerstone of the company. Creating a working environment where employees feel at home can make a real difference.

Aware of the extent to which the well-being of people is directly linked to and can influence the success of the company, the management and ownership remain firmly committed to creating the best possible conditions to promote a healthy relationship with the company's workers. This includes being close to people, understanding everyone's needs and supporting, quickly and where possible, immediate needs when emergencies or difficult situations arise.

For the future, the company is already considering and developing specific tools to achieve and maintain the best possible mental and physical well-being for its employees. The aim is to promote a sense of togetherness at all levels, so that everyone can benefit from a safe and relaxed working environment and satisfactory working conditions. To achieve and consolidate this goal, Ristorfoods is very attentive to the training and ongoing development of its employees and, especially, its sales force. An ongoing commitment that adds value to the people who work for the company and the work they do.
